Artist statement “As a sculptor, I endeavor to shape, abstract, and reorder materials that are often overlooked or dismissed. As a piece takes shape, the smallest detail, structure, and finish become equally important to me. Regardless of the materials I choose to combine, the intent of my work is always to emphasize textures, celebrate detail, and create works that convey a sense of history or journey.
