Artist statement

“I like to paint in many different media and styles. I am a Water Resources Civil Engineer and have always loved the beach and natural wetland areas of Florida. Water has always been a source of inspiration and relaxation for me. I am also drawn to images of human suffering, healing and triumph over adversity so I often try to combine these two themes in my work.”

Education

Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
